Janies M.Mackin, of thiscity was ordained to the Catholic priesthood with eight other candidates this morning at Sacred Heart cathedral at Davenport by the Rt. Rev. Bishop Henry M. Rohlman.Father Mackin will celebrate his firRt solemn high mass at St. Paul’schurch here at 10:30 o'clock Sunday morning. The officers of the mass will be: celebrant, Rev. JamesM. Mackin; assistant priest. Rev. Thomas Galligan; deacon, Rev. Harry Toher; sub deacon. Rev. Richard Egan; master of ceremonies. Rev.William Green: Rev. Damian Lav-ery. O. S. B. will preach the sermon.Fourth Degree assembly of the Kntghts of Columbus will form a guard of honor for the occasion. Special Music for Mass.The men’s choir will sing Silver’s mass. “Jubilato Deo” by Ne-vin will be sung by the choir as a processional while the young priest and the officers of the mass enter the church in procession from therectory.The program by the choir follows:Kyrie.Gloria—Aloys Willem, sollst.
