Jacob iliardt charged with an as sault with intent to commit rape upon his five year old daughter, was tried this morning aud bound over to Court in the sum of fiye hundred dollars. His wife, it is said, is in the lunatic asylum and the children aged five and three, are being taken care of by their aunt, Mrs. Charles Erhardt, with whom the brute was also boarding. The doctors testified to. his diseased condition, which he transmitted also to his little daughter.
