Cousins (Hub Holds ReunionBy Mrs. John BishopThe Chambliss Cousins' Club held its 16th annual meeting in Hamilton this year. The Lions Club Youth Center was the meeting place May 24 and 25. The Cousins Club has met in various places and Texas parks since organization June 13, 1954, in Oakland Park, Fort Worth.The idea for this club originated in the minds of grandchildren of the late Miriam and James Monroe Chambliss of Blue Ridge, Hamilton County. They realized that after the passing of their grandparents and some of their parents they were losing contact with each other. Thirty-three of the original 36 cousins are still living, the majority haveing been born in Hamilton County.Surviving parents of the cousins are Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Gardner, Blue Ridge; Mr. andWayne Lee Is*Buried TuesdayServices were held Tuesday, May 27th, at 3 p. m. in the Riley Funeral Chapel for Aldon Wayne Lee. Rev. Ernest DeWald and Minister Herman Beauchamp officiated. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
