Stanlz of Navarre will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, May 31,with open bouse in the afternoon from 2 to 5, preceded by a family dinner served at noon.Mr. Stantz. 84, is the son of thelate Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Stanlz of Navarre, one of the first families to settle in that community.Mrs.. Stantz who was 68 on Jan. 18 is the former Miss Mary Dany daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Darr of New Bedford.The cbuplc was married by the late Rev. D. It. Raiser at the residence of Mrs. Stantz’ parents in New Bedford.They are members of St. Paul’sEvangelical and Reformed church of Navarre. Mr. Stantz, a retired carpenter is a charter member ofthe Knights o£ Pythian of Navarre. Mrs. Stantz is a member of the Navarre temple, Pythian Sisters, The couple has three children, one son, Harry Stanlz of Canton and two daughters, Mrs. A. Viola Miller of Louisville and Mrs, Alice Cronk, eight grandchildren and sig great-grandchildren.
