I .Eldora Couple To Mark GoldenAnniversary Next WednesdayMr. and Mrs. C. J. Wartchow will quietly observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, May 28.Their children, Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Stonebrook and family of Evanston, III., and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Wartchow and family of Ann Arbor, Mich., will be here for a visit at that time and a family dinner will be held at the Country Club. The only other guests will be Mrs. Wartchow’s sister, Mrs. Lucy Moser of Eldora and her brother and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brooks of. Eagle Grove.Mr. Wartchow came to Eldora from Jefferson in December. 18.07, and for 18 years .conducted a meat market on the west side of the square, afterwards moving to the Johnson building on north Washington. He was continuously in business with the exception of about, three years, until January, 1946, when he retired.Chas. J. Wartchow and Miss Emma Brooks were married May 28, 1902.
