He recalled, When he was a kid he got polio or infantile paralysis and loot the use of his right hip.He had been in a number of accidents with his cycle and car, but always was lucky and escaped death, the chief said. He said Riley was almost killed a year ago in a wreck.Chief Dudley said Riley was always a moody sort of guy. He had a lot of troubles, but I think he was a good kid. A# decent sort of a fellow.”
