On Saturday night of last week Mr. Thomas Cloud and wife were surprised by a number of neighbors and friends who assembled in honor of the 42d anniversary of the marriage of Mr, and MrB. Cloud. In the course of the evening the worthy couple were made the pleased recipients of a fine plush chair. Mr G. W. Cummings made the presentation speech. The occasion was enjoyed by all present. A fine collation was served, after which the company departed.
