School Bonds CarryBy Seven-Vole EdgeHOUSTON (AP)~A proposed $3.5 million school building program for the Northeast Houston School District was approved in a bond election Saturday by a vote of 862-855—a seven-vote margin.The funds will be used for building three new elementary schools; a cafeteria, a library, a combination gymnasium, band hall and choral building for the i Smiley High School; an auditorium and physical education 1 field house for the B.
