Future Farmers of America have assisted in community projects as well as school activities.Its sdling of fruit, giving to certain families at Thanksgiv-bonks for a missionary,•“Fine Noue Verein (a new club) was formed at 1XIHS. Ttie (iorman club constitution was drawn up by a committee of five.LCHS QueensMiss Linda Nore (left) was chosen Central's Invitational Track Queen this year. Another royal queen was Miss Barbara Penning (right) who reigned over Homecoming festivities.International Relations Club hosted various speakers, attended thd northwest Iowa International Relations Convention, and built a float at homecoming this year,•The Thespian Society decorated the gymnasium for homecoming, presented three one-act plays and held a bacheque to round out its year.•Science Club conducted a preliminary study of radiation and traveled to the University o f South Dakota's science fair at Vermillion.•the Vocation Industrial Club of America conducted many service projects and attended many meetings during the year. The students fixed hospital beds, repaired city trucks, as-sited with a safety check and sold toothbrushes. Several students attended the leaders hip conference, Ames, and the state convention, Perry, Iowa.David Tone headed LCHS student body
