Clubs originate exciting projectsFourteen dubs at Le Man; Community high school have participated in several activities during the year to encourage and establish interest i n •their organizations.•Art Club revised its constitution and raised money for several projects to promote art at LCHS.The group traveled to the Sioux City Art Museum and bought records for the art classroom with its finances.•Presenting Calamity Jane was the highlight of the chorus department’s activities. They also partidpated in two vocal concerts and group competition. Sponsoring the director's clinic and co-sponsoring the B and C Carnival were other responsibilities.•Future Business Loaders promoted Us dub by visiting two businesses in Sioux Falls and listening to two special guests. NUT.•Future Farmers of America have assisted in community projects as well as school ac-ing and Uiristmas, and building park benches have lieen a segment of the FFA's projects.Attending numerous conventions and contending in several speech contests and livestock judging competition, have been an educational experience for its member;.•Each month the Future Homemakers of America had a special project or program. Some of these were the fresh man style show, the district and state conventions. Christmas caroling, visitation of the aged, Mother's Day tea. Appalachian dothing drive, ctxikbook sales, 21st birthday celebration, and collection of UNESCO stamps. •Sponsoring health career films, touring the Clarkson Memorial Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska. sotting up a nursing display, have promoted the Future Nurse's Club this year. •Future Teachers of America observed classes, held regular monthly meetings and donated a portion of its budget to buy books for a missionary.•Fine Noue Vercin ia new club) was formed at LCHS.Wayne Kramer, Cliff Mc-Mur-ry. Rachel Posthuma served as the first president.Holding regular monthly meetings, caroling at Christmas time and sponsoring a German banquet made up the club's activities.•Attending GRA play day at Vermillion was the major event of the Girl's Recreational Association's activities.•Establishing the Alan Conover Memorial Award, which replaced die athlete of the year award and presenting certificates to Mr. Jones.
