Hoffman-Loew Nuptials Read at Maple RiverKathleen Loew, daughter of Mr. and Mre. Steve Loew of Maple River, and La Vera Hoffman, eon of Mr. and Mre. John B. Hoffman of Templeton, were married at 6:30 Tuesday morning, May 22, at St. rrancis Church in Maple River. The Rev. P. M. Mattes performed the double ring ceremony.The organ Processional'' by Carlo Rossini announced the entrance of the bridal party. Th$ church choir sang the High Mass by the Rev. A. Drees, Ave Maria” by Rossini at the offertory and the hymn, Maiden Mother, as the bride placed an arm bouquet of white gladioli and carnations, tied with shaded blue satin, on the Blessed Virgin’s altar after mass.Mr. Loew gave his daughter in marriage. Her white gown ha^ a net bodice with Queen Anne collar. The slipper satin skirt, with net overskirt, featured a lace-ruffled insert down the front. She wore a fingertip veil attached to an orange blossom crown. Lopped maline and knotted white satin showers accented her moderns triple bouquet of gathered white puffed carnations with individual collars of pinked, rounded gal ex leaves.Louvine Hoffman, cousin of the bridegroom, was maid of honorand Mariella Loew, sister of thebride, bridesmaid. The maid ofhonor wore a ballerina-length gown of blue taffeta with net overskirt. The bridesmaid's gown, identical The bridesmaid's gown. identical in design, was yellow. The attendants carried queen's colonial bouquets of pastel yellow and spring blue carnations In tucked maline, with tipped satin leaves and satin showers. Bach bouquet matched the respective gown.Ronald Kasperbauer, friend of the couple, was beet man and Larry Loew, brother of the bride, groomsman.Ushers were Harold Davis of Clarinda, brother-in-law of the bride, and Lynn Hoffman, cousin of ths bridegroom.Mary Kay Davis of Clarinda. niece of the bride, waa the flower girl. She carried a princess colonial bouquet, combining pastel yellow and blue frenched carnations In aNow Is the Timecollarette of looped maline andsatin. 'The dinner ana reception were held in St. Francis hall. Sixty guests were entertained at dinner at 12 o’clock and 60 more at the reception at 2 o'clock. Blue, yellow and white streamers with white bells decorated the hall.Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman will take a week’s western trip.
