J. H. Diehl of Lake Geneva will be guest speaker for the regular morning service in honor of the occasion. During the course of the service the mortage will be burned.The first service of Grace Evangelical as a church was held Dec. 26, 1908. The congregation was formallv organized May 23, 1909. Its minister, the Rev. Henry W. Wovahn who had just finished seminary at Waukesha, was ordained into the ministry and made pastor of the church at the sameceremor.v. He had been instrumental m building the congrega-iton from a very humble beginning to a communicant membership ofover 600 during the 40 years of his pastorate.In 1912 the congregation purchased the property the church now stands on from the Free Methodist conference, and built the little church shown above which housed the growing congregation until 3 941, when the new and larger structure was built.Mr. and Mrs. Charles Merton and son. Bryon, will be honored as the only original members ofthe congregation still affiliated■with the church.Other festivities planned to commemorate the anniversary are a 3 p. m. concert Sunday afternoon by the choir. Soloists will be Mona Woyahn Schloesser and George Merten.
