Two Bluesky Stores Burned, $20,COO LossA blaze that started from some unknown cause in Cragg’s store at Bluesky during the early hoursof last Friday morning, while Mr. Cragg was absent, destroyed that store with all contents, also Murray’s store, with most of his stock.Some stock was removed from Murray's store, but the loss is estimated at $15,000, while Oage’s loss is placed at $5,000. In each case considerable insurance wascarried.When the blaze was discovered the Fair view chemical outfit was called and did good work, but it was too late to save the stores.With the assistance of a local bucket brigade, however, they were instrumental in saving the hotel and many other buildings that might have also suffered the fate of the stores.
