In celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding a reception to over 100 relatives and friends was given Tuesday night in Madderom’s Hall, 11022 Michigan avenue, by Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Boersina. The reception was attended by nine children and thirty-seven graud-oh id Iren from the western part of Illinois, ' Michigan and Wisconsin. Mr. Boersma is seventy-six years old and his wife seventy-one. Both were born in Holland. They came to Chicago shortlyafter their marriage.
