After their marriage, they made their home in Milbum, Sanpete county, where Mr. Jones engaged in farming, mining and the mercantile and timber businessesuntil 1028, when the couple moved to Salt Lake.Mr. Jones was WMmmm^ovn in Provo, % March 29, 1856, a ;|son of James N. and j;Sarah Ann Mal-|Ierny Jones, His ^parents joined the L. D. S. church in jOhio shortly after . _|its organization. «:|Mr. Jones’ father plater became one of Joseph Smith's ■bodyguards.
