Moser, of SpeDcer township, celebrated the 42nd anniversary of tbelr marriage, Sunday, May 10, by giving a big dinner to their many friends.ThiB being a very remarkable family I will give a brief history. They were married May 10, 186lt;, and ten children were born to -hem, six boys and four girl9. The whole family was never all together at once. They come nearer this time than they ever did, just one Mrs Sadie Purcell, of Mobile, Ala., the oldest child, was the only one missing. As large a family as Mr. Moser has, he has never lost one and has not had to call a doctor In forty years, except once, Mrs Moser fell and broke three ribs and and they had to call the first physician to the home that even the oldest child ever knew of. Thero are now 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides the family there were about 50 that took dinner with them.John W, Swarens, Mrs. Mary J. Brown, Dan Swarens and family, Henry Liucoln and family, John W. Moore and family, Mrs. Hugh Blair, of Depauw, Mrs. Emma Bishop, of Royal, 111., Mrs. Sam Lagel and many others.Everybody enjoyed themselves immensely being such a beautiful day and such a jolly crowd and they re ceived many valuable and useful presents.
