GarrettMr. and Mrs. Ruel Garrett will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house/reception today at 12:30 p.m. at the Mill-creek Civic Center in Chesterfield. The event will be hosted by their children.Ruel Garrett and the former Louise Melton were married May 31, 1952, in Monticello, Ky.Mr. Garrett retired in 1991 from Delco Remy. Mrs. Garrett is a homemaker.They are the parents of Teresa (husband, Michael) Kolacz of Saline, Mich., and Rick (wife, Lisa) Garrett of Anderson. They have four grandchildren.
