A. W. Farley has been nominated to serve as exalted ruler of the new Kerrville Elks Lodge, No. 2081, which will have its formal institution Tuesday, May27.Other officers nominated are Homer Waters, leading knight; James K Looker, loyal knight; W. L. Donungeaux, lecturing iknight; Robert C. Hoffmann, secretary: Forest L. Womack, treasurer, and Haskel H. Fine, tiler.Trustees for the lodge will be Sidney C. Ashton, Robert I. Wilson and Lewis F. Limbert.The institution ceremonies will be held at the Golden Ox. Lodges from San Angelo, Kingsville, Victoria, Tyler and Austin will have officers present to take part in the work. i The housing committee is considering the second story of the (Lehmann Building as the new home of the lodge. Plans are to renovate the rooms and install modern Western furniture.It is expected that the lodge hall may be in use by June 15 'at the latest.
