He teeldee with bla daughter, Mr*. Hattie Warne. Mr. Btockdtl* wae a corporal in the Civil war and agreed with Co. B. 150th regiment Ohio National Guard. He wae otie of a number of thia company who volunteered from Camp Bradford, Baltimore, Md., July 4th, 1864 to proceed to Frederick City, Md., aa mounted Infantry for tfaa purpose of preventing the enemy from going into Maryland. Mr. Stockdal* carttet a vivid picture of tfcoee war daya and love* to tell of them to hie caller*.A huge tier birthday cake, beautifully decorated and the figure* *1 on the top, formed the centerpiece for the table. Two aons, Ralph Stockdale, Sandusky and Herbert stockdale, Zaneavitte, were unable to be present on account of previous arrangements.In spite of hia advanced age Mr, Stockdale was able to be about with his guest* and apent most of the day in the yard with them having pleasure in the taking of pictures. Four of hia children have grandchildren and these were all taken in groups, however, only one of his great grandchildren carrift* the name of Stock-dale.
