William A. Huston, eon of Judge Samuel and Christian Huston, deceased, was born in Franklin township in February, 1820, and is therefore, the oldest native of said township now living. Then his father owned the farm that James H Kodman afterward possessed j and died on a few years since. December 1*44, Wiiliam A. HustOD became the husband of Miss Elizabeth Tucker, daughter of James and Sarah Tucker, deceased. The marriage ceremony was performed by the late Rev. John L.Mar-tin, then a Presbyterian minister who lived in Salem, This couple raised a family of seven children, namely, Celestine., William L., Austin, Sandford H., Samuel F., Clara E. and Lincoln, two of whom have died. They were Mrs. Celes-tine J. Robison and William L.Austin lives in Jackson county, Sand ford and Sam on farms adjoining their j father's farm, Mrs. Clara E.
