Hunton, of Green Ridge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception, held by their children and grandchildren, from 2 to 4 p.m. May 23 at the Green Ridge Community Building.Marjorie Helphrey and John J.C.” Hunton were married May 22.1954, at Broadway Presbyterian Church by the Rev. I). Warren Neal.They have three children, Susan Jones, of Sweet Springs,Doug Hunton, of rural Windsor, and Karen Fox, of War-rensburg; and three grandchildren.Friends and relatives are invited to the celebration.
