Mr. and Mrs. Emery KlemmeKlemmes wed 50 yearsMr. and Mrs. Emery Klemme of Akron recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Their family hosted an evening dinner in their honor at Hammer's restaurant. (Naef Photo)The couple were married May 6. 1917 and have lived in the Akron community their entire lives. They have 6 children, Marvin, Dale and Darrell of Akron; Mrs. Roger (Betty Jean) Athens of Le Mars; Kenneth and Mrs. Elwin (Verla Mae) Laudenslayer both of Redwood City, Calif. They have 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
