Carl and Marjorie IrelandIrelands of Beloit mark 50th occasionToday is the 50th wedding anniversary of Carl and Marjorie Ireland of Beloit. A family celebration will take place at a later date.Their children and their children’s spouses are Carla and Steve Donker, Beloit; Melinda and Mark Thummel, Hill City; and Jeff Ireland, Manhattan.There are five grandchildren and one great-grandson.Carl Ireland and the former Marjorie Poulton exchanged wedding vows in 1950 at Beloit. He retired from KPL Gas Service in 1993. She retired in 1995 from the Beloit High School food service.
