Munger; alslt; his 52d birthday, and while we an giving the groom’s age we will adi that Mrs. Munger is three years thlt;junior of her husband. Arrange»merits were begun about a week be fore to make the above oeeasior memorable to the good couple, ant! to add to the pleasure of the partiei pat ion, it was designed to make it acomplete surprise; hence the workproceeded under difficulties; but thechildren at home, lend by Mr. andMrs. S. A. Carroll, and assisted by R.L. Fox and wife and Mrs. Wrn.Green, managed pretty well in male tug all readiness without exciting suspicion of an invasion, capture, orany design on the quiet and happiness of their home. The fact is, Mrs.Munger did not know or suspicion a tiling of it till the guests began to arrive, hut the “old man” did so much j loafing down town Saturday aft'T-noou that he “got onto it” just before going home, but not e^rly enough to j get the contemplated new suit of clothes.Invitations printed on silver fold-of.«, enclosed in silver envelopes, with a fine cream-tinted enclosure, were sent out just a week before, resulting in assembling a congenial company at the home of Mr. and Mr3. Munger on the “silver anniversary”as before stated. The evening was not pleasant, which deterred many from going, but all who were there enjoyed themselves very much. The wedding ceremony was performed again, R*»v. T. A. Miller tying the Gordiao knot anew, a knot that had ^ stood the test of 25 years without weakening.
