former Oxford village clerkGlenn K. Hunsinger, 8G,yi W. Spring, Oxford, died-at 5:15 p.m. Sunday' in McCullough-Hyde Hospital, Oxford.Mr, Hunsinger was born in Oxford township, a son of George Washington and Anna E. King Hunsinger. He. attended Oxford public schools and Miami ’University.' •He served in France during World War I and was a member of the American Legion and Oxford Methodist Church. Mr. Hunsinger was a well known bowler in Hamilton-, and Oxford for many years.Mr. Hunsinger served as clerk of the village of Oxford from 1932-1956. He married Leah Smelser in 1921, and she died Feb. 23, 1964.He leaves a son, Richard -G. Hunsinger, of Bethesda, Md.; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. George Hunsinger of Wyoming, Ohio and Mrs. Richard Hunsinger, and five grandchildren.Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m at the Marshal 1-Smith Funeral Home, Oxford. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
