tCROWNPOINT*fIM'fI*The Fort Wayne News Sentinel Rives a detailed report, which follows, of the Heints-Krudop wedding mention of which was made In last night’s Times;Simple detail of appointments marked the nuptials of Miss Bertha Krudop, 614 West Jefferson street, | and Mr. Martin J. Heintz, of Crown Point, which took place at high noon today in Trinity English Lutheran church with Dr. P. H. Krauss performing the ceremony in thepresence of members of the immediate families and personal friends.Mr. Ralph Doctor, organist of the church, played softly during the ceremony. The couple were unattended. The bride wore a gown of powder blue Moravia crepe, trimmed with real Aloneon lace. A picture hat of beige ballibuntle straw, beige footwear and kid gloves completed the bridal costume. She carried an arm bouquet of Briarcliff roses.Following the ceremony a wedding luncheon was served at the home of the bride with covers laid for the members of the immediate fa milies. The bridal table was centered with a large silver bowl arranged on an ebony vase and containing roses and freesias. At eitherend tall white taper* were held in two-branch candelbra of crystal and silver on ebony bases. The couple later departed on their wedding trip by motor, after which they will make their home at 128 North Union street, Crown Point.For traveling the bride wore a suit of tan silk crepe with a. white blouse. A hat of brown straw' with accessories in matching shade of brown, and a baum martin fur scarf completed the traveling ensemble.“Mrs. Heintz. until recently, wasassociated with Vesejr, Shoaff and Hoffman, attorneys, as manager of the legal loan department of the Old-First National hank. She is a member of the Trinity English Lutheran. church and of the Business and Professional Women’s society of that parish. She served as secer-tary-treasurer of the building committee of the church during its construction.“Mr. Heintz, who is auditor of the I^etz Manufacturing company in Crown Point, is well known in Fort Wayne, having visited here frequently as the guest of his brother.Prof. O. M. E. Heintz, 3005 Smith street, who Is a member of the faculty of Zion Lutheran Parochial school. lie is the son of the late Rev. George Heintz. pastor of Trin-Ity Lutheran church in Crown Point from 1870 to 1800. He -attended Concordia College in tths city and later attended the Lutheran Seminary at Addition, 111. He is a member of the Concordia league and of the Concordia Club, both of Chicago.Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Laws celebrated their golden w'edding anniversary on Monday. Owing to Mrs. Laws’ health the celebration took the form of a family dinner at which their eon, Dr. Harry Laws, and Mrs. Laws and son, Kenneth, of I»afayette, and their daughter, Mrs. Edna Adank, and h®r husband, JohnAdank, and daughter, Miss Nina Adank, were present. Though the event was celebrated quietly the occasion was most happy in that the family could be together. Mr.and Mrs. Laws received several gifts.Mrs. Holton Brown is entertaining the members of her Contract club at her home at Shelby tonight. Till* club is composed of twelve Crown Point women who have recently compjleted a course in contract. A pot luck dinner will he enjoyed proceeding the games. Mrs. Paul McNutt, of Bloomington, who is the house guest of Mrs. Ruth Wheeler for several days, will be a guest at the club meeting.Mrs. Frank Muzzall opened herhomo on Tuesday night for themembers of the IT. T. H. club for their monthly meeting. Bunco was the diversion of the evening and high score cards were held by Mrs. Maggie .Seims, Mrs. Collin*, a guest, and Mrs. John Holland. The hostess ser\ed a delicious lunch after thegames.Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Clymer will leave on Friday for Frankfort to spend several days with frineds* Mrs. James McKnight is entertaining the Presbyterian Missionary eociety at her home this afternoon. Mrs. Frank and Mrs. PaulKnight are assisting hostesses. This will be a Mothers* Day meeting and Mrs. T. H. Adkins will discuss the subject, The Mother in Her Reli-ious Responsibility.A social hour w'ith the serving of light refreshments will follow' the program.Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Brown aremaking extensive improvements on their apartment in the Frederick building on Main street. They are adding several rooms and rearranging the interior. George Frederick, the owner of the building, is making the alterations.The C. B. B. club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Evelyn Baker on Monday night. The usual games of bridge were enjoyed and high score awards were won by Mrs. Evelyn Baker and Miss Ida Rosen-bauer. A light supper was by Mrs. Baker at the closegames.George Osman, of Gary,served of theepentWednesday in Crown Point with friends.The Playmore club had a very delightful meeting at the home’ of Miss Frances Grimmer. This club which numbers eight members play pinochle and prizes w'ere won by Miss Ella Masoth and Mrs. ClaraSherman.
