E-DEMOCRATLazers mark 65th anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Lewis Lazer of Johnstown have marked their 65th wedding anniversary.Mr. Lazer and the former Jean Stombaugh were married April 23,1.949, at Albright United Methodist Church by the Rev. Paul Garland.Mr. Lazer was born Feb. 25, 1925, in Johnstown, son of John and Suzanne Lazer.Mrs. Lazer was born Aug. 14, 1930, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Elfa Stombaugh.Mr. Lazer was employed by Quaker Sales for 35 years. He was self-employed for seven years.He is an avid fisherman and gardener.Mrs. lAzer is active inAlbright United Methodist Church, a volunteer at Cone-maugh Memorial Medical Center and a member of Cambria City Community Association.The Lazers are the parents of four children: Bruce, married to the former Renae Harbaugh, Lakeland, Ha.; Jeannie, wife of Richard Brehm, Johnstown;Dr. Jack, married to the former Michele Macy, Johnstown; and Dr. Bob, married to the former Karen Naugle, Bedford.There are seven grandchildren: Steve Lazer, and wife, Ann, Stow, Ohio; Heather, wife of John Kneeland, Sag Harbor, N.Y.; Julie Brehm, and fiance, Ben McConnaughey, Raleigh, N.C.; Tyler and Adrianne Lazer,Sunday, May 11,2014Mr. and Mrs. LazerJohnstown; and Sarah and I^eah Lazer of Bedford.There are nine great-grandchildren: Ashley, Brittany, Kayla, Alyssa, Halle, Danny, Robbie, Dillon and Claire.
