Tobac City Motors'AssetswAcquired By Lee Motor Co.chirrLee Motor Co., Inc. of Elm City has acquired all assets of Tobacco City Motors, Inc. of Wilson, according to James L. Lee, president of the Elm City Ford dealership.Lee said the company’s Elm City operations will be phased out and combined with the newly acquired Wilson facilities at Herring Ave. and Lipscomb Road. The new company will be known as Ix;e Motor Co., Inc.Included in the assets of Tobacco City Motors is a Mercury automobile franchise.The Wilson Ford dealership was acquired by J. C. Bradley Sr. in 1953 and he served as president of Tobacco City Motors until its sale.
