Th* two-day affair is slated forMay 12-13, official MaifestDays in Texas, according to a proclamation issued by Gov. John Connally.Both coronations will begin at 8 p.m. in Fireman’s Park.Queen Ann Schwartz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. WalterSchwartz, Queen Denise Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Granvel Smith, and Kings Tom and Jim Southern, tw in sons of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Southern, will preside over the Courts of Constellation May 12.Queen Ella Buchanan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Buchanan, and King Patrick Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cole, will preside over the senior court, Moonlight Serenade, May 13.Both da vs will start with the largest parades in history of the spring celebration. The parades, slate i to start at 10:30 a.m., will feature over 10 bands and 35 completely decorated floats.Special guest for Maifest weekend will be Speaker of the House Ben Barnes, whose son, Gregory, will participate in the junior coronation.Approximately 200 will be presented in the senior ourt, with many of the couples coming from all over tin state.The junior court will be-nearly 500 in number, the* Flargest participation ever.
