Baldwin, a pioneer resident of the city. The firm continued in operation as the Baldw in Coal Co., until 1950 when it joined forces with the Standard Coal Co. which came to the Kenosha coal sale scene in 1936.a direct descendant of the firm I i founder, had shifted his scene of operations to 6800 39th Ave.Included in the transfer ofthe company were records dating hack even before the start of the coal company when the late founder. George S. Baldwin, operated a shoe manufacturing firm.
