Mr. and Mrs. Harrv J. Hiess of iv t730 Lathrop, were in Jefferson. I Wis., Saturday and Sunday for =the golden wedding anniversary \of Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Riess, |parents of Mr. Riess. Accompany- ;ing them to Jefferson were Mrs. jM. J. Lowrey of Oak Park, Mrs. j Riess’ mother, their children, ; Donna and Morton and Janet ! Riess, who joined them en route at Beloit. A dinner for forty guests was served Saturday evening at the Jefferson house, and Sunday afternoon an “Open j House” reception, was attended! by 150. The !elebrants were both born in the vicinity and have j lived all of their married lives in Jefferson. Mr. and Mrs Riess and family returned to the village Sunday evening.
