Mr. and Mrs. Nelson StanleyStanleyMr. and Mrs. Nelson C. Stanley of Crab Orchard were honored with a 50th wedding anniversary recpe-tion May 2 at the Sprague Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Stanley’s 91st birthday was also celebrated.They have lived in the Beckley area for more than 50 years and are members of the Sprague Freewill Baptist lt;hurch.Mrs. Stanley is the former Minnie Stump.The reception was hosted by the family and ladies of the church. A musical program was presented by Mike and Patricia Stanley Barnhouse and family of Ripley. Children and grandchildren gave words of personal appreciation to the couple.After the reception, family members celebrated with a dinner at the Western Steer Restaurant.There were four children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren in attendance.
