Golden Wedding Anniversary•Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lamphier celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Wednesday, iMay 2, with 'High Mass at 9:00 a. m. in Sacred Heart Church. Their sons, Leonard, Marion and Lyle, of Randalia, and Donald, of Oelwein, sang High Mass. Dinner for the immediate family was served at the Legion hall at noon with open house from 2:00 to 4:00 in the Legion hall. About 125 registered during *the afternoon.Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lamphier (Mabel Stafifenhagen) -were married in Volga, May 2, 1-906, by Fr. Hetherington, and have lived in Clayton county since their marriage. They have six sons, namely: Francis, of Glasgow,Mont., Erwin, of Fayette, Leonard, of Marion, Lyle of Ran-dalia, Donald, of Oewein, and Orville, of Wadena, also two daughters, Mrs. F. D. Smith of Oelwein, and Mrs. M!. F. Barnes of Vinton.
