All six of the singles competitors on the Woodrow Wilson High School girls tennis team earned state tournament berths Thursday in the Region V tennnis tournament played at the Woodrow and Ewart Avenue courts in Beckley.In boys competition, Princeton had four qualifiers and Mullens hadthree.Both the winners and runners-up in Thursday’s tournament advance to the state tournament in Parkersburg on May 21-23.Thursday s tournament was an individual competition. Team competition between the Mullens and Fayetteville boys teams will be held Saturday at the Ewart courts.
