Thrtt years ago the honor couple moved to Ryderwood to retire but in response to the requests of their townsmen Rev* Magoon becameacting pastor of the RyderwoodCommunity church,Following the evening service Sunday about 150 friends gathered in the social rooms of the church to surprise Lhe Magoons with a reception. Yellow tulips, azalea blossoms and candles, carrying out lhe golden theme* centered the refreshment table from which the ices and cakes were served, Mrs. Charles Barber, and Mrs. Ross Inman presided at the coffee urns.Seymour Atidersor. acted as toastmaster and Mrs/.Ceorge Mcculloch sang 1‘Because'* and Love !* .Sends a LUlie Gift of Roses.
