phia; Mrs. Mary Fox was born in Wisconsin. The other four children— John G., Jr., Mrs. SarahBailey, Mrs. Matilda Montgomery and George Thudium were born in Linn county, on the old homestead. Charley Thudium, a grandson of “Uncle John'-.’ brought Photographer Gress and wife of Brookfield up for the ie-union. He took several pictures*One was of a double five genera tion, John G., Sr.,Daniel, Charley, Mrs. Vida Wampler, and daughter, Waverly De-Loris, Edward, Mrs. Lola Briggs, and son, Jerrcl Edward. Mr. Gress says this is a very unusual picture. Several four generation pictures were also taken. Grandpa enjoyed the entire occasion very much, shedding tears only as he oealiz-ed his days are fast passing by, and soon for him must set life ssun and he will be called upon to enter that untried land fromwhence no traveler 'ere returns.He is a genial, kind, and lovableold gentleman whom everyone loves and esteems, and all Linnveneratesworth.—Budget
