On April 16, 1903, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Douds of Plumville, their daughter, Nannie Douds, became the bride of Sloan Marshall, son of Clark Marshall of Plumville R.D.On April 21, at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Marshall of Plumville, more than 80 relatives and friends helped the Sloan Marshalls celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary at open house. The couple received many cards from well wishers.The bride was dressed in a navy blue gown and wore a yellow rose corsage.A miniature wedding cake was baked by Kathleen Marshall, a daughter in law. Cake, ice cream and coffee were served to the guests by the daughters, Ruth and lone, nieces and nephew, Donna and Janoie Pflugh, Nan-PU Anil .IflAn MarchaN Hillents of three children, Wade of Home, Ruth Calhoun of Smicks-burg, and lone of Butler.Friends and relatives called from Butler, Plumville, Marion. Center, Smieksburg, North Point, Indiana, Elwood City, Punxsu-tawney, Ambrose and North Lima, Ohio.The Marshalls are former residents of Plumville. They moved to Butler 20 years ago and Mr. Marshall is a butcher in that city.They wish to thank all their friends and relatives who made the day one never to be forgotten and for the many cards, gifts and phone calls from those who were unable to be present.On April 14, the family enjoyed an anniversary dinner in the Marshall home in Butler.
