OXFORD — Nelson G. Bockover, 39, 5422 College Corner Road, Oxford, died a I 6:20 a.m. .Friday at McCullough-Hyde Hospital, Oxford.Born in Oxford, Mr. Bockover was a son of John and trcne Slang Bockover. A graduate of Stewart High School, Oxford, he served four years, in the U.S. Marine. Corps. .He was employed at the Oxford Press and the Miami Valley Lumber Co. He was a member of Ihje Friends of the Library Society of Miami University and of Recovery of Hamilton Inc., Hamilton.Mr. Bockover married Sue Lauderman Beach in Hamilton. He is survived by his wife; his parents; a stepdaughter, Barbara Bockover, at home; a stepson, Thad Bockover, Hamilton, and a brother, Ned Bockover, Danville, III.Funeral services for Mr. Bockover will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Marshall-Smilh Funeral Home, Oxford. • Burial, Oxford Cemetery. Visitation, I p..m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.The family suggests memorial donations lo Recovery of Hamilton Inc., W N. Fifth St., HmlUon, or the Heart Fund.
