Correspondent1 PAX (RNS) — If someone in the Pax area could be honored with “This is Your Life, the honor could easily go to Mrs. Ruth (GrannyV Stroud, who will be 84 years old Saturday, for her years of lqving homeless children and helping them obtain an education. She has reared 19 foster children whom she has sent through high school.Mrs. Stroud will celebrate her anniversary at home because of ill health.Members of the Pax Lilly Valley Church, where Mrs. Stroud is amember, had planned a birthday party at the church, but because of ill healththe event has been canceled and Mrs. Stroud will be at home to greet friendsand relatives.soMrs. Stroud had one son by her firsthusband. Paul Pannell of Dunbar and Pax.
