Saturday as official Poppy Days | m Zanesville for the annual sale I conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1058.After World War I, the poppy became the symbol of the tragedy of war and of the renewal of life because many j of the battlefields of France bloomed with poppies. The flowers are made during the year by hospitalized veterans.
