Both are in a good state of health, and they participated in the festivities of the rare celebration with the freedom and gladness of youDger members of the family. It was a surprise, and the party was nicely planned by Misses Nannie Trotter, Mollie Hoag land and Mrs. Jae. Bergen, of Har-ristowo. While the couple were temporarily absent from home, tbe invited guests assembled and took possession of the residenea Ttey returned in a carriage, in company with Mr, and Mrs. D. S. Shellabarger, who called for them, Some time was then devoted to offering warm congratulations to the couple, and at tbe appointed hour the golden wedding feast was spread. The eleg an t supper, which was provided by tbe host and hostess, embraced all the good things of life, and was praised by all.
