Dog attack at park should never have happenedThe hearts of many citizen* in the Twin City area most certainly go out to the hapless victims of that avoidable dog attack at Cog-gshall Park. The young person with the dog chose to act in defiance of the rules governing the public use of the park As such, this unfortunate. preventable incident was bound to happen. The sad truth of the matter is that there are far too many short-sighted, like-minded scofllaws who continually ignore the signs that clearly bun dogs from being walked on the pond-side path. Furthermore, the chances that this particular person and dog coming forth to take responsibility for the injury to the child is aboutequal to the chances that she will never again irresponsibly walk the dog on CoggHhall Parks or other, similarly-marked city parks' paths.Joseph F.
