Mr. and Mrs. LazerLazers celebrate golden anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Lewis Lazer of Johnstown have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Panamanian cruise.Mr. Lazer and the former Jean Stombaugh were married April 23, 1949, in the parsonage at Albright United Methodist Church by the Rev. Paul Garland.Mr. Lazer was born Feb. 25, 1925, in Johnstown, son of John and Suzanne Lazer. Mrs. Lazer was born Aug. 14, 1930, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Elfa Stombaugh.Mr. Lazer was employed by Quaker Sales for 35 years. He was self-employed for seven years. He is an avid hunter and fisherman.Mrs. Lazer is active in the Albright United Methodist Church, the West End Lioness and organizing bus trips.They are the parents of four children: Bruce, married to the former Renae Harbaugh; Jeannie, wife of Richard Brehm; and Dr. Jack, married to the former Michele Macy, all of Johnstown; and Dr. Bob, married to the former Karen Naugle, Bedford.There are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
