CongratulationsTO MR. AND MRS. JOHN H. KERNS of 245 Shenandoah Ave. on their 45th wedding anniversary. They were married May 7, 1927, at Kernstown by the Rev. T. H, Daffin. They have nine children, Clifton, William, Russell, Nathan, and Donald Kerns, all of Winchester; Mrs. Carol Anne Ricketts of Stephenson, Mrs. Lucille Baker of White Post, Bobby Kerns of Buchanan, Mich., and Staff Sergeant Douglas Kerns of McCord Air Force Base, Takoma, Wash. They also have 26 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Kerns is the former Miss Virginia M. Rerjner.
