Thompson Brown, commissioner for Virginia on the fiftieth anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, has issued a.pamphlet giving official .detailed in-1 tl■ • J -Iformation concerning the Gettysburg | 0celebration, which will take the form of a reunion of the Blue and the Gray, to be held at Gettysburg, on July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th next.Among others the pamphlet carries the following paragraphs for the bene j fit of those who contemplate attending the celebration,Assignment to Accommodations:All Veterans proposing to attend this great Celebration either by Brigades,iCamps or individually, must send their names to these Headquarters, through the Division Quartermaster, Col. Da-1 vid A. Brown, (address, 605 E. Main street, Richmond, V-a.) if member of the U, C. Vs., if not, then through the Adjutant-General of the Grand Camp of Virginia, Col. Joseph V. Bigood (address, Travelers* Building, Richmond Virginia), by May 15th, 1913.No .provision can or will be made in Camp for those applying after May 15, 1913.Entire Camp and all Arrangements [ g for Veterans ONLY: Under the Acts of Assembly of Pennsylvania and of | pl the Congress of the United State, only | cc honorably discharged Veterans of Civil War will be provided food, shelter and entertainment within the j Great Camp on the Battlefield; there-i fore, no woman, nor child, nor any man not such Veteran, will be given such food shelter or entertainment therein, and no Veteran accompanied at Gettysburg by ^ woman or child, or man not such Veteran, will be giv-, en any such food, shelter or entertainment therein for himself and them also, but only for hiniseif alone, the above laws so prohibiting, and therefore no sleeping, toilet, or other arrangements that would make it possible for women or children to sleep or be fed in .tfie Camp have or will be made.
