For twelve years Mr. La w j was deputy hersii’ of Vermilion *' county from Ross township and | was e.ccltd constable and p lice j magistrate, now serving the eighth j . year in the latter office. lie is a member of the Masonic iodge in j Roseville, having joined the order I in 185*.
