Spanish Students Have Dinner MeetThe annual dinner for senior Hi?h School Spanish students was held Thursday evening in the Central Christian Church. An all-Spanish cuisine, including tamales, tacos, enchiladas, ponche de frutas, galletas. and sorhete, was prepared hv the G. i. Forum Auxiliary headed by Mrs. Jesse Ramirez, for 60 gi'C'ts and students.The welcome was extended by Foss Farrar, and response given by Mary Helen Savala, president of Spanish III lt;class' Club.Members of Spanish III Class presented a play, “Tongue Tied in Mexico. Music was furnished bv The Live WiresWand .Tan Smykil. who sane; 'In \ Little Spanish Town. accom-paned on guitar by Steve Clark.Honor certificates were presented ’lt; Foss Farrar. Mary Helen Savala. W a n d a Yore. Carolyn Smith, Judy Cook. Jim Squires. Dorotv Yore and Shirley Morgan, by their teacher. Mrs. Opal Rose.The traditional Pianta was enjoyed at the close of the program. Mrs. Rose was the recipient of a cymbidium orchid corsage presented bv members of the Snani'h II Class who are annually guests of the SpanishII students.* • •
