The newly established Kerr-ville Elks Lodge, No. 2081, will become a formal organization at the next meeting, to be held at the Terrace Room of the Blue Bonnet Hotel Thursday, May 8,at 7 30 p. m.At this meeting all prospective members who signed the petition which has been approved by the ! Grand Lodge are expected to be present. Chairman Louis Neuendorf will present to the group b'r consideration and action •many phases of organization, such as setting up dues require-1 ments, specific meeting date and regular place of meeting.Numerous committees will be appointed and members will vote on pertinent problems and pass legislation covering the conduct of the local Lodge in accordance with Grand Lodge directives.The nomination and electionof permanent officers and a so-1 lection of a date for the initiation of new members will be a; part of this important businessmeeting.Secretary A. W. Farley reports that the Grand Lodge has made available all necessary materials ‘and equipment for both installation and administrative work. All members taken into the lodge at this meeting will be on the honor roll as Charter Mem-!bers.Refreshments will be served and all prospective members are requested to be present and bring another prospective member with him.
