SULTANA SURVIVORSA. W. King, of Defiance, was ElectedMajorThe annnal reunion of the survivors of the frightful Sultana disaster was held Thursday and Friday at Wooster. A W King, of this city, was one of the 2700 soldiers who were on the ill fated steamer when the boilers exploded and thousands of heroes were sent into eternity. The accident occurred during the closing days of the war, and most of those on the ship had survived scores of battles, only to find death whenreturning home. - Every year the survivors hold a reunion and the struggles and triumphs of the Civil war are discussed. But from 25 to 50 attend. The next meeting will be held in East Toledo. Steps will be taken toward having the state erect a monument in honor of the dead.The program and camp fire were very interesting. At the close tne following officers were elected: Colonel, Col.
