FATHER RECOVERS HIS CHILD’S BODYAFTER DAILY SEARCH OF MORE THAN A MONTHBody Found But a Short Distance from Scene of Accident.After a daily search continuing for more than four weeks Deputy Sheriff Thomas I\ Waddock of l»e was this afternoon rewarded by the finding of the body of his 1 years old son, Carl, who was drowned while at play. The body was found at what is known as t.uo first island,” but a short distance from where the child fell into the water.Carl Waddock, a student at the parochial school in Lee. was at play on Saturday afternoon with a companion when he fell down an embankment into the small river which runs but a short distance from the Waddock house. The river was high and the water running very rapidly at that point.Every effort was made to locate the body immediately after the accident but without success. A few* days after the accident a large body of members of the Knights of Columbus, of which Deputy Sheriff Waddock is a member, made a search for the body. Searches have continued from the day of t !i 3 drowning, the father never missing a day in w hich he devoted several hours in search for the loving child he bad lost. Today he was rewarded, the body having washed up on the shore of the island.A reward of $ir.n had been offered for the finding of the body, the father offering $r-0 and friends $100.
